Pap Smear & Cervical Screening
A Pap smear is a quick and simple test to detect early signs of cervical cancer. At Klinik Dr Ayana Desa Pandan, the process is done gently by our experienced female doctor.
What to Expect:
- Private Consultation – We begin with a brief discussion about your health, cycle, and any concerns.
- The Procedure – While lying on the exam table, a small instrument (speculum) is gently inserted to view the cervix. A soft brush is used to collect a sample of cervical cells. This takes less than 2 minutes.
- After the Test – You can return to normal activities immediately. Results are typically available within a few days.
- Follow-Up – If results show any abnormality, we will guide you on the next steps, which may include further tests or treatment.
We recommend regular screening for women aged 21–65, especially if you are sexually active. Your comfort and privacy are our top priority
